The KJV teaches the Trinity — 3 Comments

  1. The word godhead is not found in any of the original definition of the greek words in three verses that you mention. The word godhead was added to the original definition by the KJV translators so as to be used to defend the false teaching of the trinity.

NT:2304: theios (thi’-os); from NT:2316; godlike (neuter as noun, divinity):
    KJV – divine, godhead.

    NT:2305: theiotes (thi-ot’-ace); from NT:2304; divinity (abstractly):
    KJV – godhead.

    NT:2320: theotes (theh-ot’-ace); from NT:2316; divinity (abstractly):
    KJV – godhead.

Jesus is the son of ALMIGHTY GOD, the word says we must believe that, no where does the word tell us that we need to believe that Jesus is
ALMIGHTY GOD, Even Jesus tells us several times that he is the son of ALMIGHTY GOD and that GOD the FATHER is greater than he.

    2 Thessalonians 2:11
11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
    KJV

GOD the FATHER sent HIS son to save the world, HE did not send HIMSELF.

    • 1 John 4:14  ¶And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.

      Is the Father, God?

John 1:1  ¶In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
John 1:14  And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
John 1:18  No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.

      Is the Son, God?

Matthew 28:19  Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

Is the Holy Spirit, God? If not, why did the Son of God tell us to be baptised in the Name of the Holy Ghost?

Matthew 28:19 is the clearest verse in the Bible about the Trinity. Believers in Christ are supposed to be baptised in all three Names, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. Even if the Catholic church named it so, it still is a biblical concept according to my Bible.
