2 Corinthians 2:11 Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

2 Corinthians 10:3-5 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds. Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.

Ephesians 4:27 Neither give place to the devil.

Ephesians 6:11,12 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Unity

Psalms 133:1 Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!

Ecclesiastes 4:9,10,12 Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up. And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.

Amos 3:3 Can two walk together, except they be agreed?

The Christian’s Relationship to Worldly Society

Matthew 10:16 Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.

John 15:19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.

1 John 2:15,16 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

Persecution

Matthew 5:10-12 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven. Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in Heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

Matthew 10:23a When they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another.

John 15:18 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated Me before it hated you.

2 Peter 2:20-22 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them. But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.

Christianity in Crisis

Ezekiel 33:31 They come unto thee as the people cometh, and they sit before thee as My people, and they hear thy words, but they will not do them: for with their mouth they show much love, but their heart goeth after their covetousness.

Ezekiel 34:2b,3 Woe be to the shepherds of Israel that do feed themselves! Should not the shepherds feed the flocks? Ye eat the fat, and ye clothe you with the wool, ye kill them that are fed: but ye feed not the flock.

Matthew 15:8,9 This people draweth nigh unto Me with their mouth, and honoureth Me with their lips; but their heart is far from Me. In vain they do worship Me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

Matthew 22:29 Ye do err, not knowing the Scriptures, nor the power of God.

Mark 7:9,13 Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition. Making the Word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered.

Acts 7:48 Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet.

2 Timothy 3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

Revelation 3:15,16 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of My mouth.

(See Matthew 23-Jesus’ rebuke to the scribes and Pharisees.)

The Law of Christ

Matthew 22:37-40 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it. Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

John 1:17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.

Romans 3:28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.

Romans 8:2 The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

Romans 10:4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.

Romans 13:8b He that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.

Galatians 2:21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.

Galatians 3:13a Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law.

Galatians 3:24,25 The law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.

Galatians 5:1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

Galatians 5:13 For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.

Galatians 5:14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

1 Timothy 1:9a Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient.

James 2:10 Whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.

Creation vs. Evolution

Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

Acts 14:15b Ye should turn from these vanities unto the living God, which made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all things that are therein.

Romans 1:20-22,25 For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Because that, when they knew God, they glorified Him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, Who is blessed for ever.

1 Timothy 6:20 Keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called.

2 Timothy 3:7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

Hebrews 11:3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the Word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

The “Time of the End” Signs of Christ’s Second Coming:

Matthew 24:3 And as He sat upon the Mount of Olives, the disciples came unto Him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be and what shall be the sign of Thy coming, and of the end of the world?

Matthew 24:5-7 Many shall come in My name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

Matthew 24:12,14 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. And this gospel of the Kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

2 Thessalonians 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day (of Jesus’ coming) shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition (the antichrist “beast” of Revelation 13).

Daniel 12:4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

(See also Matthew 16:3b; 1 Thessalonians 5:1-8; 2 Timothy 3:1-7; 2 Peter 3:3-5.)

The Resurrection and Rapture of the Saved:

1 Thessalonians 4:16,17 For the Lord Himself shall descend from Heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: And the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: And so shall we ever be with the Lord.

1 Corinthians 15:51,52 Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

(See also 1 John 3:2; Philippians 3:21.)

The Judgement Seat of Christ:

2 Corinthians 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

Daniel 12:2,3 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.

The Great White Throne Judgement:

Revelation 20:11,12 And I saw a great white throne, and Him that sat on it, from Whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: And another book was opened, which is the book of life: And the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

Revelation 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

The New Heaven and New Earth:

Revelation 21:1-4 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of Heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

Revelation 21:16 And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs (1,500 miles or 2,400 kms). The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal.

Revelation 21:24 And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.

James Arendt

My name is James Arendt. I was raised in the Hegewisch neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois, served in the USAF from 1970 to 1974, and became a full-time missionary for Christ living 40 years in Japan, 3.5 years in Russia, and a few months in other countries such as Finland, Poland, Estonia, Latvia, South Korea, Taiwan and mainland China where I also served the King of Kings, Jesus, as an Ambassador for His Kingdom. My full bio.

On September 24, 2023, I had an accident and broke the bone of the tip of my left elbow. A boy ran in front of my motorbike less than 2 meters from me as I was leaving home. I stopped suddenly and my front tire slid on the sandy concrete road which caused me to fall. I did not hit the boy. On October 18th I had surgery done on my elbow. The doctor put in titanium rods to hold my bones together. The entire procedure including an entire week in the hospital was roughly $4000 USD. This was done in the Philippines where my wife and I have been living since June this year.

X-rays of bone before and after surgery that inserted titanium rods to reinforce my broken bone.

Before and after one week in the hospital.

Undergoing therapy to bend my arm again.
I'm now undergoing therapy to be able to bend my arm again.

The verse John 3:36 shows the sexism in the KJV : He that believeth ...abideth on him" expresses the predominance of the masculine over the feminine as King James had ordered things to be : "The man is the head of the family, the church, as Christ is the head, etc! But with Revelations for instance we noticed the predominance of the feminine : there are two women in Revelations, one woman is riding the Beast meaning she holds the reins of the beast, the Church is symbolised by a woman, the ... It's not just the KJV is sexist, it's the English language that is sexist. And the reason it is sexist is because God created only two genders, male and female.

Fabien I would question any criticism of Scriptures from a person who doesn't even know the title of the last book of the Bible. It's not Revelations... It is either Revelation, Revelation of John or Revelation of Jesus Christ. Never is it Revelations with an S. And to add one more thing if I may... Sorry that in your worldview it is hard to realize that God is not feminine, He is The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit. I understand you may think your standing up for Feminism but in ... I copy that. Seek first the Kingdom of God and its Justice, and it's justice that women be car-mechanics, justice is to be deserved.Even if you buy a house, you can't own it, it is to be deserved, it's not about money.
