And just as the "tree of knowledge" was the first temptation in the garden of Eden, so today it is still one of the first big temptations the Devil uses and that's what man still strives for: To "know it all!" And of course this is almost the major stress of today's materialistic society--education and knowledge--total education their way! "The more education you have, the bigger job you can get, the more money you can make, the more things you can buy and the happier and more 'successful' you will be!"
The parents, of course, want their child to be a nice little brainchild.--"I want him to have a good job and make lots of money. I want him to be accepted by society. I want him to be a product of the System." So they selfishly abdicate their responsibility as parents and individuals in bringing up and training their own children and turn their pitiful little living sacrifices over to an educational System that is Christless to the heart, where they will be compelled to worship and learn to love the false gods of this World from the time they're five years old until they're eighteen!
It reminds me of the ancient heathen practice of "causing their children to pass through the fire" (Lev.18:21; Psa.106:36-40), in which deluded Devil-worshipping parents would offer their babies and children to the devil-god, Moloch, a huge idol which had moveable arms, hinged at the elbows, and a big yawning mouth with a huge fire built inside it. They'd offer the children to this idol, placing them in its open hands, and the priests of Moloch behind the idol would turn a lever or pull a rope and the children would be tossed into the idol's mouth, alive, into the fire! Likewise today's children are forced by their parents and the System's compulsory education laws into the greedy clutches of the modern mammoth god Moloch, the Education System, and are cast into its gaping, massive, fiery stomach to come out in identical molds of dead, lifeless, mindless, systematic, System-addict robots!
The Devil got ahold of the right part of the System to really destroy the kids, and in some places, like the U.S.A., he's got the public school system just where he wants it! Prayer is forbidden, God is outlawed, the Bible's banned and religion's illegal.--Except, of course, their ridiculous, false religion of evolution, which is perfectly legal. In fact, it's the religion of the public educational system, which shows how modern education is designed by the Devil to undermine faith in God and the Bible and encourage faith in man and his wisdom and science instead--the worship of man as opposed to the worship of God! (Rom.1:22,23)
Most universities and colleges, and even seminaries and Bible schools, are run by men who don't know the answers any more than the poor students they're supposed to be teaching. They, as Jesus said, are "blind leaders of the blind," and He said they're both going to fall into the ditch! (Mat.15:14)--That's why the World is in the ditch today, because its leadership is blind--blind shepherds leading blind sheep and they're all falling into the ditch of perdition together!
Neither the shepherds nor the sheep know which way they're going. The only difference is that the shepherds are hypocrites and they pretend to know, even though they don't. I had many professors in college who would try to answer my questions and explain things to me, but I soon realised that they didn't really know themselves, but were only pretending because they were ashamed to admit that they didn't know.--"Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools!" (Rom.1:22)
"The wise men are ashamed, they are dismayed and taken, lo, they have rejected the Word of the Lord; and what wisdom is in them?" (Jer.8:9) What wisdom is in them? If they reject the Word of the Lord, what have they got left?--Nothing! Without God's Word there is nothing, no wisdom and no knowledge that amounts to anything or is worth anything. So here they have all these great Temples to Education, yet without the Word of God they are simply the Universities of Empty Blab!--The high schools of empty blab!--Just so much baloney without God! Without the Bible and the wisdom of God, they're nothing!
Besides fulfilling its primary purpose of brainwashing and mental conditioning, what has today's modern educational system really taught its young people?--It's crammed their heads with a bunch of facts, head-stuffing, pulp-wood, and then not told them how to use it for any good or useful purposes, not told them how to love God, how to love their fellow man or how to be happy. So what the Hell good is it?
You won't find out what life is really all about or who God is or what you're here for by going to college! In fact, the longer your education, the more confused you'll probably become! Most modern educational systems are so confusing, so complicated and so complex, that the more courses you take, the more mixed-up you become!
I'm personally convinced, after going to quite a few colleges and universities, that modern education's principal aim is to make life as complicated as possible!--That's the Devil's whole job, to try to bring confusion! In fact, the Bible says he's the "author of confusion" (1Cor.14:33) and warns us not to be "corrupted and led astray from the simplicity that is in Christ!" (2Cor.11:3)--And modern, materialistic, deceitful, lying, anti-God, anti-Christ, anti-Bible, anti-prayer, public education is anything but simple!
You go to school for 12, 16, 18 or 20 years or more, till your head is almost bursting with knowledge and facts, but what good is it? What does it mean? What's it for? What is it good for? The more education the World gets, the bigger mess it's in, because it's all irrelevant to man's greatest needs! That's why God's Word says that "the wisdom of this World is foolishness with God!" (1Cor.3:19)--The wisdom of man, the wisdom of this World, is absolute, ridiculous, laughable foolishness to God!
It's pitiful how ignorant this generation is! They have abandoned God and forsaken the Lord, Who is the Source of all wisdom and all knowledge that is good, helpful and useful. They think they are becoming smarter and more scientific, but they are actually becoming dumber and more ignorant in the things that really count!--"In the Last Days, they shall be ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the Truth!" (2Tim.3:7) "What wisdom is in them?" --None!-- Nothing!-- Because if you haven't got God and you don't have His Word, there's no purpose in living, no reason for existence, no goal, no solution and life isn't even worth living! The whole modern anti-Christ System of education has taken on the attitude that there are no absolutes!--That's their whole principle: There are no absolutes!--Nothing is certain, nothing is sure!
